Recommendations on MDF Stacking and Storing

- the warehouse shall be properly ventilated, the relative humidity shall be from 45 up to 75% under the temperature of 10-40 ºC. The wet floor should be covered by polyethylene film to prevent water penetration into MDF;
- to cover the bundles from the bottom and above by substrate to avoid weather influence during transportation or long storing;
- to cover MDF with protecting covers to prevent moisture and heat influence;
- to place the panels evenly along and on top to avoid edge and corners damage;
- to store the panels in bundles with the height under 4.5 m and bundles separation by spacers;
- to place bottom bundle on the plain surface on the spacers or pallet
- to separate bundles by dry wood slugs of same thickness (at least 80 mm)
- to place the slugs with intervals of 600 mm, there should be at least three slugs, the distance between the last slug and bundle end should not exceed 200 mm
- all spacer slugs should be placed in the same vertical planes.
